[NEWS] Ikoma Rina held her last AKB48 team B live performance

Nogizaka46 member Ikoma Rina held her last AKB48 team B live performance in AKB48 Theater on 14 May 2015, it was her farewell party and her birthday live ceremony.

Ikoma Rina held a exchange student position/kennin in AKB48's Team B from AKB48 Group Daisokaku Matsuri announcement on 24 February 2014, and the arrangement was cancelled on 26 March 2015 (AKB48 Spring Shuffle 2015).

[NEWS] Nogizaka46's 12th senbatsu revealed

Nogizaka46's 12th single senbatsu election was announced on 11 May in Nogizaka Under Construction. The single is currently untitled and will be released on 22 July 2015. Previously, Nishino Nanase was chosen as the center for the 11th single "Inochi wa Utsukushii"", which is her 3rd times as the centee after the 8th single "Kizuitara Kataomoi" and the 9th single "Natsu no Free&Easy". For this 12th single, it still consists of 18 members and 10 "Jyuu-Fukujin" members. The formations are 8-5-5 line-up with the two five-membered rows being part of the "Jyuu-Fukujin".

For the 12th Single,Nogizaka46 has appointed Ikoma Rina (19) as their new center. Ikoma, whom returned in becoming the center for the 6th times after have become center, in five consecutive Nogizaka46's first 5 singles and the last single in which Ikoma centered was the 5th single "Kimi no na wa Kibou" back in 2013, and now she will be making a comeback to the center position for this 12th single. In the previous single which Nanase was the center, Nogizaka46 is breaking the record of obtaining 10 consecutive #1 singles as the fastest for a female group within 3 years and 1 month. In addition, their 11th single ""Inochi wa Utsukushii"" is their first single to sell over 500,000 copies within the first selling week. Ikoma Rina, whom her concurrent position - kennin in AKB48 has just been cancelled and ranked #14 in AKB48's 6th Senbatsu Sousenkyou while she was there, saying that she want to make use of her experience in AKB, and expressed herself that she have only been center for singles where Nogizaka's fame was growing, so she'll learn from theother center experienced members, she was also said that she will work hard for a spot of Nogizaka46 to be in Kouhaku this year. In addition, Shinuchi Mai enters as the first-time to be in senbatsu, making her the 4th 2nd gen member to be included in Nogizaka46 single's senbatsu. Meanwhile, Hori Miona dropped out of senbatsu for the first time since she centered the 7th single ""Barrette"", as well as Sagara Iori from the previous single making Shinuchi the only 2nd gen member in this 12th single. Securing one "Jyuu-Fukujin" spot Ikoma left to be the center,Takayama Kazumi made it through, while Saito Yuuri and Inoue Sayuri make it way back to senbatsu. Source: Nogizaka no Uta

[NEWS] Nogizaka46 new TV show for learning English

Nogizaka46 will have their new TV show "Nogi Eigo" (乃木えいご , Nogi English ) for English learners, it will air on TBS channel on 28 June 2015.

The TV show MCs will be Nogizaka46 members Kawago Hina, Kitano Hinako, Noujo Ami and Wada Maaya. Nogizaka46 captain Sakurai Reika (桜井玲香) will be guest star of the first episode.

Nogizaka46 announces they will hold their 2015 summer tour "真夏の全国ツアー2015" from 5 August to 31 August 2015, the tour will go to 5 Japanese major cities.
